Terms and Conditions.

A group of Law Firms who are all members of ALFA International, which is an international legal association of independent lawyers, are working together with the Association Européenne des Agents Artistiques (the AEAA) to set up a Legal Helpline for AEAA Members all of whom are classical music agents.

The AEAA\`s Legal Helpline would cover advice and assistance on all areas of the law in the relevant jurisdiction (i.e. country or National area) of the Law Firm, each of which is a member of ALFA International, where it relates to the business of artist managers. For the avoidance of doubt, these Law firms are not a panel in any legal sense but only in the very loose descriptive meaning that the AEAA has a group of Law Firms who have agreed to be available as set out below.

The Helpline will provide up to 30 minutes free advice per query to AEAA Members, including the time of the initial call, research required and the response. The initial contact for AEAA Members to the AEAA Legal Helpline will be via the AEAA\`s Website to Niki Cook, the Assistant of the AEAA\`s General Secretary (Hervé Corre de Valmalète), who will look at the List of Law Firms and pass the enquiry on to the relevant firm. A member of that firm will call or E-mail Niki Cook to say if some research or consultation is required or not before the AEAA Member is given the contact number of the relevant Law Firm. The AEAA Member will then contact that Law Firm. Assistance will be given by telephone, although the faxing of appropriate (but limited) background documentation by the AEAA Member may be needed first in order for the Law Firm to give appropriate advice within a reasonable time.

The Law Firm would aim to be able to deal with questions on the same
day. The Legal Helpline is only operated during normal office hours. It
is a support, not an emergency service.

If the query is complex and more than 30 minutes work is required, it
moves beyond the scope of the Legal Helpline and the AEAA Member is advised accordingly. A specific fee or budget for the work is agreed on a commercial basis between the Law Firm and the AEAA Member which, once agreed, would then become a normal client engagement for the Law Firm and, therefore, between that firm and the AEAA Member.

The Law Firm would retain the right to refuse to give advice where there is a conflict with existing clients, or a likely conflict arising
between members of the AEAA, or a conflict arising between AEAA itself and any of its members.

The Law Firm will report to the AEAA quarterly on the use of the Legal
Helpline and provide a summary of the queries or advice required. Such summaries will be limited or anonymous to protect client
confidentiality. Each summary also gives an indication of the time spent on each enquiry by the staff of the Law Firm.

Specimen Instructions to AEAA Members:

All enquiries by members should first be referred to the AEAA office who will decide whether an enquiry is appropriate to be referred to the
Legal Helpline. If specific legal advice is required, the AEAA staff
will give members the relevant contact number of the relevant Law Firm.

To ensure that explanation time is kept to a minimum, members are
advised to prepare a concise summary of the question they wish to ask before contacting the Legal Helpline. After initial contact via the AEAA Website, direct contact with the Law Firm should be made by phone, but AEAA Members should be prepared to fax appropriate background information to the Law Firm to assist the staff there to answer their query.

When \`phoning the Legal Helpline\`s Law Firm, AEAA Members must
identify themselves by giving their name and the name of their company.

The Legal Helpline will only give advice on issues concerning the law in the Law Firm\`s area of jurisdiction (i.e. country or National area).

The Legal Helpline cannot be used if a member has already instructed a lawyer to act on their behalf in relation to the matter or issue under
consideration.

The scope of advice and assistance will cover such areas as:

(a) the interpretation of contracts or advice as to the desirability of
terms to be included in contracts;
(b) advice in relation to disputes arising from contracts including debt
claims and advice in relation to liability, strength of claims and
procedural steps to be taken;
(c) general advice relating to issues such as performers\` rights or
copyright.

Artists managed by AEAA Members are not permitted to use the Helpline.
